| Around 12:20 hours today, Engine 77 was dispatched to stand by at Jefferson Fire Company No. 1 while they were operating a large building fire at Superior Play Systems located on Industrial Lane in West Norriton Township. The fire was upgraded to 4 alarms.
Engine 77 responded with a crew of 4 and stood by at Station 46 with Chester Ladder 65 Phoenixville Fire Department.
At 1324 hours, Engine 77 was directed to the scene with the Tanker Task Force and assisted with water supply by laying 600 feet of 5 inch hose to supply master stream operations.
Additional manpower responded from TAC 77 to assist. Members from Trappe Fire Company remained on scene for over 5 hours until being released. The scene is still active so please use caution in the area. |
