On the evening of 02/17/2025, multiple departments from Abington Township Fire Departments and the surrounding areas were dispatched to SPS Technologies located at 301 Highland Ave, Abington Township.

With a large fuel load and hazardous materials inside, heavy fire quickly spread across the large three story warehouse. The fire quickly alerted to a five alarm fire.

On 02/18/2025 at 0024 hours, Ladder 68-2 was dispatched on the 5th alarm assignment. Ladder 68-2 with a crew of three was tasked to stand by at Station 100 and await further orders.

Ladder 68-2 remained at Station 100 until 0600 hours.

On 02/18/2025 at 1900 hours, Trappe Fire Company was staffed as the Perkiomen Valley Duty Crew and was dispatched to the scene with Ladder 68-2 to assist with fire suppression.

Ladder 68-2 with a crew of four arrived on scene and used their main aerial to flow large amounts of water into the warehouse from the roof.

Ladder 68-2 remained on scene until 0000 hours at 02/19/2025.
