Station 68, Engine 34, Engine 77, Engine 53, Chester Ladder 65 were dispatched to a dwelling fire located on Edgehill Lane, Upper Providence Township around 0958 hours.

Rescue 98, Squad 86, Engine 66, Chester Engine 61 were added to assist.

DC 68 arrived on scene at 1000 hours to a working fire located in an attached garage. Engine 77 responded with a crew of 5 and arrived on scene as the 3rd due Engine.

Engine 77's crew was placed as the temporary IRIT until crews from Squad 86 relieved them. Engine 77's crew then was tasked to provided a secondary search on the second floor and assist fire attack with removing ceiling to extinguish the fire.

Engine 77's crew found a 20 pound dog located under the bed in a second floor bedroom alive. Engine 77's crew rescued the dog and removed the dog from the house to its owner.

Engine 77's crew then assisted with fire suppression, overhaul, and ventilation. Engine 77 remained on scene until 1310 hours.
