Early this morning, under the bright sun with white clouds in the sky, Station 77 - Trappe Fire Company was officially returned to service. The flag, which had been flying at half-staff in honor fallen Fire Chief Branden Sisca, was removed from service and will be presented to the Family.
As the new flag was raised to the top of the flagpole, Deputy Chief John Bolger reminded the members present that we have been lifted from the ashes because of the support of the many fire companies near and far who provided stand-by coverage during our time of need. He continued by acknowledging the hundreds of members of the business community, friends, family, and civilians who were generous in their outpouring of love and support in our time of need. It is with greater commitment and resolve that we return to serve the communities of Trappe, Upper Providence, and the Perkiomen Valley. We Thank You! |
