Station 34 along with Engine 77 and Medic 324-1 were dispatched to a vehicle rescue in the 400 block of East Main Street near Glenwood Ave in Collegeville Borough around 2115 hours.

Collegeville PD arrived with two serious injuries and two people trapped inside, they requested rescue and a helicopter on stand by. AC34 arrived on scene and established command.

Command also requested Engine 66 to assist with a helicopter landing at Collegeville park.

Engine 77 responded and assisted with fire suppression and stabilization while Rescue and Squad 34 worked on removing the occupants.

Rescue was complete at 2136 hours.

East Main Street was closer for approximately 3 hours.

The vehicle accident is being investigated by Collegeville Police Department and the Montgomery County Detectives.
