Last evening at 22:55, Station 77 and Station 34 were dispatched to the intersection of W. Main Street and 3rd Avenue (RT113) to assist Pennsylvania State Police with a traffic light that had been struck and was down in the roadway at the northeast corner.

Chief 77 arrived and found Nolan's Towing on scene controlling traffic. A witness stated a tractor trailer had hit the pole while turning right from W. Main St onto RT113 North.

Signal Service, Verizon, and Comcast all were notified to respond. The traffic light was pulled from the intersection into the parking lot of 306 W. Main Street by Nolan's Towing. Fire units assisted with debris removal and traffic control.
