Station 68 ( A and C) along with Rescue 51 were dispatched to the entrance to the Target Shopping Center for a vehicle rescue at 1154 hours.

Deputy 51 arrived on scene to two vehicles with two people trapped and took West Ridge Pike command.

Rescue 51 arrived on scene and began extrication with the driver of vehicle #1

Squad 68 arrived on scene and began extrication with the driver of vehicle #2.

Engine 68-2 arrived on scene and assisted with stabilization and fire suppression.

Both rescues were complete by removing both drivers doors.

Crews remained on scene and assisted with traffic control and clean up.

Units remained on scene until 1234 hours.

At about 2200 hours, Engine 68-2, Squad 68 and Squad 34 were dispatched to a vehicle rescue on Hopwood Road in Upper Providence Township.

While units were responding, Montgomery County 911 dispatched reported numerous people trapped. Squad 68-1 was dispatched to assist. Engine 68-2, Squad 68, Squad 68-1 and Squad 34 worked together removing two patients from the drivers side.

Rescue 53 was sent to the scene to assist, while Rescue 98 were dispatched to assist with the landing two helicopters at Anderson Farm Park.

This crash is still under investigation by the Upper Providence Township Police Department.
