On Saturday morning Trappe firefighters joined Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company for the chance to participate in live fire evolutions at the Montgomery County Fire Academy in Conshohocken.
The focus of the days training was Engine Company operations. Companies trained on size-up of the fire building, hoseline advancement, establishing a water supply, interior fire attack, and basic contingency plans. Additionally, some of Trappe's newest firefighters were instructed on how to deploy ground ladders.
The day proved to be a success for all involved. Trappe Fire Company would like to thank Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company for the chance to participate as well as the staff from the Montgomery County Fire Academy for their help throughout the day.
