Ladder 77
Ladder 77 is the first out apparatus on all structure fire incidents within the Trappe Fire Company coverage area. Ladder 77 is a 2001 E-One 100 foot heavy-duty aerial ladder. It is equipped with a 1750 gallon per minute (GPM) pump, 500 gallon water tank, 1000 GPM waterway, with seating for six firefighters (5 SCBA ready). Ladder 77 carries 234 feet of various ladders, a full complement of forcible entry equipment, high-rise pack, power saws, chimney equipment, PPV fan, smoke ejectors, salvage and overhaul equipment, ropes and rigging equipment, a four gas meter, a thermal imaging camera, basic water rescue equipment, and medical equipment.
Engine 77
Engine 77 is the first out apparatus on any of the following calls: accidents, automobile fires, outside odor investigations, wires, etc., and the second out apparatus for all structure fires within the Trappe Fire Company coverage area. Engine 77 is a 2000 E-One with a 1500 gallon per minute (GPM) pump. The apparatus is equipped with a 750 gallon water tank, 2000 GPM deck gun, and seating for six firefighters (5 SCBA ready). Engine 77 carries 1500 feet of 5 inch LDH, 500 feet of 3-inch supply line, four preconnets including: one 200 foot 2-1/2 inch attack line, two 200' 1-3/4 attack lines, and one 150' 1-3/4 line off the front bumper. Engine 77 also carries a full complement of hand tools, forcible entry equipment, a high-rise pack, a PPV fan, power saws, Junk Yard Dogs and cribbing for vehicle stabilization, one thermal imaging camera, one four gas meter, and medical equipment.
TAC 77
Tac 77 is a first out appratus for field fires, mulch fires, and to assist on medical calls. Tac 77 is second out apparatus for accidents, automobile fires, and wires down. Tac 77 is also used for additional personal on other emergency calls. Tac 77 is a 2003 Ford F-550 with 300 gallons of water and two 10 gallons of foam tanks. Tac 77 has 300 feet of 3-inch supply line, three preconnets including, two 150' 1-3/4 attack lines and a 200' 1 inch booster line. Tac 77 has a full complement of hand tools, 2 SCBA packs, one chainsaw, forest fire equipment, vehicle accident clean up equipment, rope with a SKID, and a full compartment of medical equipment.
Traffic 77
Traffic 77 is used by Trappe Fire Company Fire Police on all emergency calls. Traffic 77 a 1989 Ford Van, is used to shut down roadways or interstates to protect first responders on all types of emergency scenes. Traffic 77 carries over 50 cones, portable generators, protable stop signs, traffic warning signs, and other traffic control equipment.
Command 77
Command 77 is a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe used primarily by the duty officer who responds to calls and becomes the incident commander. Command 77 is equipped with one SCBA, a set of irons, one dry powder ABC fire extinguisher, one 2.5 gallon water extinguisher, a five gas meter, front and rear mobile radios, and a fireground command board. This unit also has an AED and BLS medical equipment.
